The Best Download Managers for Faster Downloads
Download Manager for Google Play Store
According to reports, a new ‘Download Manager’ showing apps just installed but not yet opened in the Google Play Store might soon be appearing on your screen.
While Google Play Store is still one of the most loved destinations to find apps on nearly all Android, it has faced some kind of competition in recent times. Sometimes, searching for newly discovered apps can be a bit troublesome, and although installation for a new app can be done with just one click.
Google may be cooking up a “Download Manager” in the near future for the Play Store. This feature will be tracking all applications you have downloaded recently. It is not fully ready yet, though; a recent APK teardown by Android Authority found a few lines in the v42.9.16-31 on the Play Store talking about this feature still in development.
With the functionality implemented on current versions of the Google Play Store, it was observed that Download Manager even logs all apps that the user installed and hasn’t opened since installation in addition to apps downloaded. Any app in the list gets removed once you open any, and they will also not be available the next time you come to access the “Recently Installed” area.
